The second part of Utopia at Karlsplatz was
an action in the underpass area that borders on the square. It
involved the co-operation of juveniles. They made cut-outs of
themselves. It was a metaphor for the bright shadows, which
radiated people leave on the walls after a nuclear explosion.
Everything was overshadowed by the fear of a nuclear war and by
the Cold War between East and West. The overriding theme
therefor was peace.
